I take it Percy and Jason don’t get along…

I have mixed feelings about this cover. :o On the one hand, it is gorgeous - the colors are great, it’s eye-catching, it’s intense.

On the other hand, it’s kind of badly composed. There’s almost too much going on with this cover. The owl is interesting, but then there’s all that negative space at the top; one-fourth of the cover is nothing but red tone, where the remaining three-fourths is all busy.

It’s still lovely, though, and I am reneging my previous statement about not buying the book, because all I’m going to want to do is stroke that cover.

Yeah I was waiting for someone else to say it but I’m just really unimpressed by this cover. I’m hoping this is the British version because, no offense to the British but, their covers are the ones that usually look like this and the American ones (imo) are more carefully crafted and higher in quality.

Am I the only one that thinks Percy’s sword looks more intimidating than Jason’s? Also the fact that Percy and Jason are fighting makes me nervous. I was hoping they would get along…….
